Your First Visit
We encourage all of our new patients to arrive a bit early to give us time to walk through our New Patient Evaluation.
Your dentist will begin by reviewing your medical and dental history with you and completing a comprehensive exam.
We will examine your teeth, gums, bite and jaw and take some time to speak with you about any special work you may like to have done in the future.
Based on your history, our examination and your desires, we will develop a long-term dental health treatment plan for you. Our dentists will also take the time to answer any questions you might have about your health and treatment.
For your first appointment, we like to schedule at least 80 minutes to make sure you’re not rushed, and we have time to answer all of your questions

- How can I book an appointment?
To book an appointment at Hazeldean Dental Group, please contact our office during our regular business hours.
- How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us. Please let us know about any change of plans two business days in advance, so we can offer the space in our schedule to another patient.
If you can't give us enough notice, an extra charge may apply.
- Do you offer appointment reminders?
In the days before your appointment, you will receive automated phone, text or email appointment reminders from us.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us two business days before your scheduled appointment to let us know.
- What payment options do you offer?
Payment is due on the day of service. As a courtesy to our patients, we offer the EDI system that allows us to process your dental claim electronically to your Insurance Company on your behalf. Therefore, our patients can receive their payments from their insurance company much sooner (i.e. 3-5 days).
Our administrative team is happy to assist you in understanding your insurance plan better. We do our best to provide you with accurate coverage estimates based on the information you provide us. But at times, it can be quite difficult to estimate how much coverage a patient will receive.
- Do you provide services in any languages other than English?
Yes, our office is able to provide dental services in several languages including English, French, Russian and Japanese.
If you have a language preference, please advise us when booking your appointment.
- Does your clinic have on-site parking?
Yes, we have on-site parking available for all our patients. We are also accessible by public transit.
- What infection control protocols do you offer?
Our dental staff take pride in our infection control practices. To ensure the safety of our patients we have a state-of-the-art sterilization room.
Our staff frequently attends continuing education conferences and courses in order to stay current with the latest developments, skills and technologies required within the dental field.
