Dr Charles Alleyn

Periodontist

Dr. Alleyn obtained his DDS from McGill University in 1983. He spent the next 7 years serving as a general dentist in the Canadian Forces and graduated in 1990 with a Diploma in Periodontics. In 1996 he left the military for private practice.

He lends his professional expertise to the Royal College of Dentists of Canada as Chief Examiner of Periodontics, and is also a periodontics representative to the Committee of Specialty Affairs for the Canadian Dental Association.

Dr. Alleyn provides a complete range of periodontal treatments at our clinic including implant placement and gum surgeries.

Dr Roman Kosnevitch

Director of Care, General Dentist

Dr. Roman Kosnevitch graduated from University of Toronto in 2010 and with great enthusiasm joined the long-lasting family tradition. Being a fourth generation dentist he had a unique opportunity to hear, read and witness how much dentistry evolved since his great-great-aunt started practicing dentistry in early 20th century in the former USSR. As a child he observed his grandfather combine dental practice with clinical research aimed at finding better endodontic restorative materials. He further learned about the role of effective doctor-patient communication for successful dental surgery from his uncle, dental surgeon with close to 50 years of clinical experience. He loves discussing the latest of dental technologies with both his brother and his cousin who are also dentists, albeit on different continents. This one-of-a-kind perspective, combined with world-class education at University of Toronto, and further fuelled by advanced continuing education, shaped Dr. Kosnevitch vision what dentistry should be. He committed himself to delivering exceptional, patient-centred care grounded on principles of evidence-based dentistry.

With a strong belief that dentistry should be both precise and compassionate, Dr. Kosnevitch takes time to listen carefully to each patient’s concerns, goals, and experiences. By fostering a calm, respectful, and judgment-free environment, he helps patients of all ages feel comfortable and confident in his care—whether they are visiting for a routine check-up or they are in for more complex high-tech procedure.

Prevention is at the heart of Dr. Kosnevitch philosophy. His practice emphasizes comprehensive examinations, individualized risk assessments, early detection, and patient education to help prevent dental disease before it starts. As the Director of Care, he helps his exceptional team of dentists, specialists, hygienists and dental assistants to work collaboratively with patients to protect their long-term oral health and overall well-being.

On his days off he enjoys exploring Canadian wilderness in his canoe, reading science fiction, taking care of his bonsai collection, and woodworking. He thinks that he is a decent comedian, however, his wife and his son occasionally disagree.
